Getting an internet connection

I am trying to get my sons PC connected but to no avail.
Up until a while ago it worked fine via a Belkin wirless USB. Now it recognises the BT Home Hub but won't let him online I have tried connecting via the ethernet but it's the same problem.
I know it's not the hub as he can connect via his Wii.

Has he disabled the connection some how?

He has Vista and I'm struggling as I only know XP.

have you requested a line test? presume you mean cant get connected. may just be as simple as a line fault. I'd ask BT to do a line check at first if it's a sudden thing.

Thanks I'll try but my PC uses the same connection and that works fine would a different PC need a line test?
