Frequent 'aquiring network address'C
      #374928 - Thu Dec 06 2007 09:52 PM

Please can someone help me from going mad.

I have a NEC Versa laptop it connects onto my home wireless network no problem. I liked the laptop that much that I got my wife one and it connects to the network and then permanently drops and re-acquires the network and on and on it goes. The duration between drop-outs is variable.

I have updated the drivers to the built in wi fi connector and disabled the connection and re-enables it, I have disconnected and re-connected manually, changed the wpa key and so on

Why does one connect no problems and the other not? What is the solution?

Thanks in advance

If it uses any software to manage the connection, disable the Windows Wireless Zero Config from Services.
