My wife has just turned on her Dell laptop but the scrren momentarily lights up and then the screen goes blank. She has had it for about 3 yrs and uses it for her own business. I have managed to piggyback another monitor so she can use it and it is fine. So what can be done about the screen. We have managed to save all the important data.
Realistically? Nothing. To replace a screen on a 3 year old laptop would probably cost her more than buying a new laptop. If the laptop is that important to the welfare of her business it's time to buy a new one. It's a legitimate business expense that can be offset against her business profits.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
