Hi guys, as a bit of a newbie can anyone tell me how to change a web address' appearance? By this I mean when you paste a link in an email for instance, instead of displaying the complete address I would like to be able to have "click here" instead.
Hope I have explained this ok...

You will need Outlook Express and HTML to do this Open Outlook Express|Create Mail| Format|HTML At the bottom of the window select "Source" Now write your message and insert your links. A link would be entered like this <a href=http://www.wisdom-soft.com>This</a>

Hi redstaruk,
Alternatively, in Outlook Express (6) or indeed Outlook, just type the word(s) you want to represent the hyperlink, select the word(s) then, from the menu bar, click Insert>Hyperlink.... a dialogue will popup enabling you to enter the actual URL.

Wow- thank's for the speedy replies guys, that has been bugging me for ages. I suppose I would use Joe_London's method if I was using a forum for instance? I will go and have a little play...

I think you should change your signature as there's a good chance you could be banned from the Forum.
