Whats this? Woodpeckers in my router?
      #373135 - Thu Nov 22 2007 04:05 PM

Perhapa sombody can explain this

I have bee surfing though some of my usual sites with rhe sound on them I'm starting to get s feedback sound like woodpeckers in sync with the router and Mouse...Am Only protected by the Windows/Router Firewalls when surfing this way. My MacAfee Firewall cannot log any threats until the Voyager 105 is reconnected

NOTE The noise subsided after a while (did nothing) returned albeit fainter later on as a thin wail at a low level

My Question...Is this an attack or outside interference or what?

Woodpeckers have been on my lawn all afternoon but not making a great deal of noise.

Could it be Hitchcock's birds paying you a visit?

Seriously, I can't imagine it's anything to be concerned about.

Another issue which is area wide(very random) is we get these bleeping pulses for a few seconds on all the Sound devices in the House..Theory is that its a locator Transmitter signal from something like an aeroplane ?

We live below the Main flight path for planes flying to Germany and anything going North or South also they stack up for approach To Manchester Ringway and also Liverpool. Also, have a Motorway(M58) and 2 Cell phone masts 5 minutes walk away (could also be a suspect?)
