INK LEVELS ON HP COLOUR LASER JET PRINTER

I have an HP Colour Laser Jet printer 2600N

Previously if a cartridge was low on ink, there would be a warning on the screen, letting me know which cartridge was low.

This has now vanished.

Does anybody know how to get this back
