Any ideas on flushing dns ??
      #373025 - Wed Nov 21 2007 06:22 PM

I have several websites all of which were designed on this PC. I uploaded a new one a couple of days ago, and it's already appeared on the internet, and can be seen on any computer ...... except mine ! All I get is a holding page from my host company (Easyspace)
I have been on to Easyspace, and they suggested flushing my dns.
Start / run / cmd, then type "ipconfig/flushdns"
I get the message "could not flush the dns resolver cache: function failed during execution".

HELP !!!!!!

G'day keith3.

Keep reloading the page, may take up to ten reloads or just use Ccleaner.

C:\>ipconfig /flushdns

Windows IP Configuration

Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Are you putting the space after C:\>ipconfig .....This should solve your problem:)

Good luck....alot of people miss that space and get caught out

Otherwise right click the two little screens in your system tray (bottom right) and select repair

You don't need a space!
