Trying to connect laptop
      #372510 - Sat Nov 17 2007 07:54 PM

First time user.
I've just bought a Sony laptop (Vaio VGN NR11S)- Currys, and would like to get it 'talking and working' with my home comp. I'm on Wanadoo wireless and talk, main comp, running on XP and laptop is on Vista Home Prem.
Have had no luck finding a connection
I'm told by local comp. man that I don't need the original set up CD that I had with Wanadoo but I have tried to register the WEP No. on the on screen 'box' but it still tells me that I cannot connect to the internet.
Running the CD does not get me connected either
Help please
Dave
