Real Player
      #372324 - Fri Nov 16 2007 11:00 AM

Having two pc's(one new)one reformated and cleaned up. I realised that I had lost my ability to listen to BBC radio programmes which use Real Player as their basic software for listening online.

I'm not sure which pc I wish to use to listen but thnk I have downloaded the new free version of Real Player to probably the wrong machine. Can I move the downloaded player to the other machine. Is it easy? Can it be done? Or are we as users allowed to have more than one version of Real Player on more than one machine at the same time? Or is it only the one at any time.

If you are allowed duplicate/multiple downloads is it a case that you have to download it again and can you enter the same details? Or if you are only allowed the one copy, is it ok to download it with the same details?

Each machine can have a maximum of ONE Real Player program (not because they'd stop you, just its programmed that you only have one player on each machine as technically you only need one!!)

You can download it as many times as you want though!! If you've downloaded it to the wrong PC, don't worry - just download it on the PC you want to listen to. You can still use the same details to register, it's not a problem. That's just so they have your details on file for any correspondence they wish to send etc.

Remember: you can have as many copies as you like!! So fire away!!

Thanks for that The Wiz,

That helps a lot as for now I have got around the problem slightly by messing about with the switch box, a recorder and some cables so it plays into the new pc but a another version would be much easier.
