I have been designing websites with my pupils at school. The sites look great, work perfectly on IE and Firefox and look spot-on in Print Preview in both. However, when we print from either browser we get the strangest boxes appearing on the prints which obscure what is on the browsers.
In all regards, the printers/browsers work fine. Has anyone got any ideas? Would this suggest it's a web design issue? If so, I guess this is the wrong forum! Has anyone seen anything like this before. The web design software is Serif WebPlus 10.
Any comments are much appreciated.

If the print preview is OK I would suggest that you have a problem with the print drivers on the PC. Is it a network printer? What's the make and model of the printer?

It's a Brother HL5250DN with a NetGear Print Server. My concern is it only happens when the pupils print off their own indiviual websites, so I'm guessing it may be something in their web design process. However, I cannot see anything wrong when I open the page in WebPlus, Dreamweaver or Frontpage.

If it's a web design problem, you're on your own as far as I'm concerned I'm afraid. Have you tried re-installing the printer?
