downloads in ie7
      #371753 - Mon Nov 12 2007 01:34 PM

is there a way to redirect downloads in ie7 to a downloads folder the same as in Firefox as opposed to cluttering up my desktop (the only tidy place in my house!)?

Just add a new folder in My Documents or a location of your choice and Save your next download by pointing it to this folder. You can be really original with the folder name but most people would name it Downloads

My Documents should already have a 'Downloads' folder by default.

... and I thought that I created that Downloads folder in that location, just goes to show what a bad memory you get when you get older.
