hi there folks

i am trying to decide what speakers to get for my PC, and can't quite make up my mind i am kind of torn between
  • Creative Inspire T6100 5.1 Speakers
  • Sony SRS-D511 5.1 Multimedia Speaker System 50w

any help would be appreciated or even some recommendations

I've heard nothing but good reviews for the creative speakers, I'd give them a shot.

BTW these are useless unless you have a sound card as opposed to onboard sound.

thanks for that, i have a sound card was just at a loss on which speakers.

Can I also ask, do you play or intend to play games on your PC and do you watch or intend to watch movies on your PC?

If neither, do you really need 5.1?
