A decent calender.
      #371216 - Wed Nov 07 2007 06:12 PM

Hello,
I am looking for a program which i can basically use as a diary/calender, so I can put in events and more important when assignments are due!
I don't really want it to be an web based one I would rather a program for my computer and preferably one with a modern or customisable look.
I know I am being specific so anything similar would do!
Thank you

Do you happen to have Microsoft Works or Outlook installed on your PC?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

I don't use one myself but have a look at this link for a pile of free ones.

Flippin 'eck!. three times I've downloaded this and uninstalled it because each time I switch the computer on, the calender is NOT on my desktop. that is untill I clic on the icon. That must be wrong. If it's meant to be visible why isn't it?.

If we had any idea of which programme you were talking about we could probably answer your question.

The only calendar I use is Google Calendar, Kingkisher. It's great for collaborating with someone if you are planning a trip. I used it to plan a trip to this year's Edinburgh Festival with my friend.

Hi, in a way, it did help. Because I went into settings and saw that "Run at start up" was unticked. Having rebooted a couple of times, it seems that this small thing was the reason. Anyway thanks for your help. Don't go too far away, because I am going to set up a Christmas present that has remained unused and in it's box for three years, it's a webcam. Our daughter is off to the Falklands at Christmas so I've been jolted into using this. I note my system requiments are right, so off we go.

I ought to transfer my request to another thread now or risk the wrath of the mod, so I must find a webcam thread.
