Windows Media Player Problem

I play lots of music video's on my WMP but recently (and I hope I can explain the problem well enough since I'm not too up on computer jargon) playback has changed.
I do not use Full Screen Mode or Compact Mode just the way the video plays naturally. But now what I'm getting is a much smaller playback 'viewing area'. So I'm looking to get the playback area back to what it was before i.e. almost all of the 'black area' filled in with video playback. Hope this makes sense.

Is it WMP 11 ?

If you start playing one of your video's and then right click on the screen you will be presented with an option to change the video size.
