I Googled myself the other day,out of curiosity,to see if I was on the site.I found that I was, indeed,on there, listed as a member of this forum.I double clicked on the site and it led me to the home page,I then clicked on log in,and due to the fact that I ticked "remember me",I got straight into the forum.I realise I can untick "remember me",but surely it should not be this easy to get into here.

That did not work,I am afraid.I used Ccleaner and tools on IE to delete cookies,History and all the rest but I can still get direct access into my details from Google.

You may be able to but no one else can - that being the case I don't really understand the problem.

If that is correct, then I will not worry about it.I just assumed , rightly or wrongly, that other people could Google it in the same way and edit my information or get hold of my identity, e mail address and so on.I haven't actually tried to access it via another PC at the moment.Thank you both for the prompt reply.

Anyone viewing your profile here, whether as a member, visitor or via Google will only see that information you have placed there. Your password & email are not visible (although the facility for showing your email is available, you haven't used it).
