Hi People!
I got problem with Windows XP home disc, About 3 years ago, my Mum bought a Windows XP home Upgrade disc instead of the full version and the thing is that I can't install win xp on my 2nd server. Is there any way to install Windows home on the server since it won't install it?
Anything would be a help, please.

Install Win98 first, then upgrade to WinXP.

Thanks responding BurrWalnut, but I don't have Win98, thats the other problem now. Would I be able to get it of Microsoft.com or is it Illegal?

Buy it, I'm sure it is quite cheap on the auction sites.
Make sure you get a 25 character product code with it, not just the CD.

Hi BurrWalnut,
Before I buy, Can I trick windows into thinking I have a corrupt windows xp home on the server by copying Windows folder from my laptop and making it corrupt?
And why Win98SE?

You may have a problem with installing the first edition of Win98.

Ok, but would my first idea work or would it just crash the whole thing?
