XP help
      #369599 - Wed Oct 24 2007 10:27 PM

I have a big problem and need help. I had a crash, got a new hard drive and tried reinstall Xp with my reinstallation disk from Dell. It says I need my product code and I don't know where it is. I put my disk in with the Works suite box I got w/ the computer, thinking that code on the box was it for all disks. I contacted Dell and Microsoft and they said I have to buy a new code for just about the same price of the software. That's not right having to pay twice. Is there any way I can get the code off the disk I have or anything else I can do

Their should be sticker on your PC with that code. It's normally somewhere at the back and consists of 25 letters/numbers in five groups of five.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
