Friends laptop is running quite slowly, has a dell laptop 2 years old. Plenty of room on HD but only 256 of ram, i've changed pc ram before but how easy is it to change laptop ram?
Any info appreciated.

It may take a bit more screwdriver work to get at the ram in a laptop. On the other hand some of them just have a small plastic cover on the base to access the RAM slot. Get the exact make and model and you should be able to find the instructions on the Dell web site.
