Webuser Forums: Wireless Router/Modem Choice! Any Advice?

Hiya all,

I currently own the Linksys Wireless G ADSL Gateway (WAG54G) and not going into detail I am lending it to my neighbour and getting myself a new one today. I do need to pick it up so I was looking for something from PC World!

I have seen a few on there and note the prices ranging from £50-£120. I do like the one I have now as I have never had any problems with it and like the config screen etc so I was looking at the Linksys WAG54GS wireless modem/router as a replacement.

It says on the features that it has ADSL2 Modem function, would this still be compatible with my upto 8mbs ADSL broadband line? (It is a BT phone line)

I have also seen the Linksys WAG325N for an extra £20. This has an increased wireless range and as I live in a 3 storey town house, this would obviously give me a better signal on the top floor! Is it worth the extra money?

Finally, are there any you would personally recommend?
