I think the site needs to be a bit more finished before official launch. At first I thought I had just linked to a generic website. My first instinct is always to look at the top of a page for the Site Name, but when I did I just found an invitation to enter my slogan. The Welcome to footballmad.com should be far more prominent. I also found the overall layout initially bland, but I suppose when you are presenting an independent website, you have to be careful not to associate it with the colours of your favourite club (Rangers or Celtic?). Having said all of this, constructively I hope, having got used to the overall colour sceme and presentation style quite like it and think that it has potential for development - but I really think you need to impress Footballmad.com's identity on it quite prominently.
