Water spray
      #367472 - Sat Oct 06 2007 07:05 PM

I have a lot of flower pictures. Is there any simple way I can make them look as if they have been in a shower of rain? I realise I should have sprayed them before I took the pictures and if I take more pictures that is what I will do. However, I would find a water spray button useful in many ways if one exists.

dave

It is possible to achieve what you want with mixed results admittedly using software such as Photoshop.
There are many tutorials . . . >> Creating water drops which may help you with your predicament. I personally have a few Photoshop plug-ins which can do what you want with customisation but again, with mixed results.
It can be very time consuming to create the finished object only to look at it and think 'that doesn't look right'.

I think it would be far easier to re-shoot your flowers with the 'sprayed' water to achieve your natural end result.

Thanks for the advice, Fusion. I'm beginning to think you are right. Wondering if I can interest the 'Big Boys' in putting such a device in their next software upgrades?

Not quite sure who the 'Big Boys' are and in what software upgrades?

Hello Fusion. By 'Big Boys' I meant Photoshop and all the other imaging software producers. Each one has a series of effects buttons and perhaps one which prodices a water spray effect would be useful to have as an option. Thanks for showing an interest.
