I would guess it's 'hang on in there' problem. I don't know how big the pictures are in your blog but anything of any size is going to take a long time on a dial-up connection. Ask him to leave the page on line for a bit longer and see what happens.
Thanks Greysts. You are probably right. My blog pictures hover around the 300KB size and the pictures in the body of the blog enlarge upon click, to 1024px for a screen-filler.
Madeline left me a blog-comment explaining where he need to click 'show picture' and where he needed ticks in drop-down menus etc.
I shall see him on Wednesday and I will come back when I've found out how he has fared. Thanks again for your help.
