Hi guys,

For the last 2 months Ive had no Xbox Live over my Router

I recenty changed my Internet provider and with BT I was using wireless now im using a modem which is perfect .

Only I want to use Xbox Live through my wirless Router which is Netgear btw but I can't seem to install it.

Ive put in the CD but it stalls where it says this could take over 2 minutes(I gave up at 45 minutes)

Any help would be much appreciated.

You don't need to 'install' a router.

Is the router a modem/router? If so, you need to configure it to connect to the internet in place of the BT modem.

That's just a router, not a modem. Is the modem you have USB or does it have an ethernet port?

If it has ethernet, connect the cable to the WAN/Internet port on the router.
