Hi All,
Some weeks ago in the webuser there was a program which saves streaming videos/tv channels or video clips from YouTube as well..can anyone pls advice me what it was. i have so many webusers mags i cannot find the right one. cheers all...

WebUser gave the Gold Award to Media Convert for this, unfortunately it stopped converting YouTube.
I continued to use Vixy.net, an online convertor of YouTube .flv files to Avi/Mpeg4. Vixi is in Beta form and can be iffy at peak times of the day, apart from this it works for me ok.

for youtube i use quivic but it is not free (£12), you just drop the url or link onto it , it goes and downloads and converts to wvm files all in one go!

There's a firefox mod called downloadhelper that is pretty good as well

thank you all for your replies. much appreciate. i was also asking about a program that can capture screen in .AVI or .MPG or any video file ? i mean lets say if i m working on a project in MS word or anyother program & i want to capture all what i have done in a video file ? is this possible ? Thank you all
