`Don't know if this is correct forum. Anyway, I can't view photos on many sites. For instance, National Geographic. I select the photo zone, the screen message shows searching and connecting. Then the screen goes white where the photo should be and the bottom message bar says "done" I am enabling popups. I have IE7 and a reasonable graphics card. My wife has a pc also and it is about same spec. She can see the photos I can't. We have the same security software. Any ideas anyone? Another thing is that occasionally on email, when someone sends a picture, all I see is the frame, with a red cross in the top corner. Most times I have no probs with such photos, though???

I am not sure about the National Geographic issue...but on email, usually that happens if you have some kind of filter/protection enabled. Then you should have an option that says something along the lines of "Show remaining pictures in E-mail" or "Consider this E-mail as safe", then it should show them correctly...
That's if I have understood what problem it is

It sounds as if your graphics card is struggling to deal with photos that are above a certain pixel size. Can you do some tests on photos? Perhaps get your wife to use her PC to send photos via email to you of increasing size to see if that is the the problem?

Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
