I have just gone onto TalkTalk with their MT882 Modem and all is OK. I managed to install a second computer to work into the same cat 5 connection when I disconnected the first one.. all Ok. but now i want to use my previous Voyager 210 at my desk, which will run two computers, one cat 5 and one USB, and put the MT882 on another socket for the good lady. My problem is, I can't get the Voyager 210 to work with TalkTalk, and I can't sus it, not being a very clever chap... can anyone shed any light on the bit I'm missing please..?

You cannot use more than one modem on a single telephone number even though it may be on a second extension. I sounds as if you want to have three computers all running at the same time. If that is the case you will need a modem/router, possibly wireless if distance is a problem.

OK, thanks for your comment. In the past, I have fed the Voyager 210 with two computers at the same time, when I was with BT, so I believe it's a router. But now I can't get it to talk to TalkTalk. It's as if there is something in the 210 that wants to stay with BT. I am looking for a way of connecting it to TalkTalk. Maybe it's just a matter of using the windows network set up, but I don't know what settings to put in.

Your router is locked to BT. You will need a firmware update to unlock it for use with a different ISP.
Google is the answer.
