Strange forum behaviour.
      #365259 - Sat Sep 15 2007 04:30 PM

Usually when i visit a forum and hit the index button the orange dot returns to clear on the index page to show Ive already visited it.
Today i have noticed this does not happen unless i revisit the same forum then hit the index button again,is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

This problem has been going on for months and months. Don't expect an answer.

When I reply to a topic then I get a red number 1 next to the total and it is my reply that is the only new post.

Very strange behaviour tonight, first time it has happened to me. Threads I have read that have no red numbers showing randomly put them back in again to show the same number of unread posts that were showing when I first came on here tonight. I then re-read that one & low & behold another does the same. Decided I had corrupted cookies & logged off to delete the Webuser cookies & ended up on another IPC site Yachting & Boating. Bizarre!

If I can't be a good example, I'll just have to be a terrible warning

You're not alone there. It's getting impossible to keep on top of threads I've read, haven't read or should have responded to. I can only assume some IT expert has been playing with the server and made a pigs breakfast of it.

Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Well, on the face of it they've fixed the problems.
