Internet TV
      #364816 - Tue Sep 11 2007 06:44 PM

Dear Sir,
I would like to receive internet TV via broadband as opposed to terrestrial antenna, and seek advice regarding the equipment needed. Grateful for anything you can tell me regarding routers, streamers, set-top free-to-air digiboxes, tv stations that transmit on broadband, in fact a total 'idiots' guide of eqpt and how to set it up.
Many thanks
David

I think you're after something that doesn't fully exist at the moment and probably won't be until BT complete the telephone line upgrades.

This will get you tv on your computer. Here's what iPlayer does.

4OD will also let you download TV programs.

Your best bet would be to get a TV Card installed on your PC and connect your existing aerial to it to receive terrestrial/free-to-view/cable/satellite TV that way.
