Download trouble

Keep trying to download Second Life for my daughter. Its a 32mb download.It starts to download, showing a time of 3 hrs....??? Seams a lot...???But the download terminates after a time..
Any advice please..??

What browser are you using, what's your connection speed, any other sites being viewed whilst the download takes place, firewall blocking the download?

Thanks Mouse, most have been a time line differnce did it this morning it only took 7min.Sorted.
