I am using Windows Live Hotmail. I've noticed that some junk mail is going straight to my inbox rather than my junk folder. They are for Viagra and the like. My email is set so that only messages sent by my contacts are supposed to go straight to my inbox so how are these junk ones going there? The last two that have just arrived came from Pfizer Inc. and the other came with the subject 'Delivery Status Notification (Failure)' but was for Viagra.
They don't arrive that often, probably in single figures per week, but it's annoying and it didn't happen with the classic version of Hotmail. Is there any way I can stop this from happening? Thanks. Glynn.

In Live Hotmail, click on Options>>More Options. Under Junk e-mail, click on Filters & Reporting. Select "Exclusive", then click on Save.
This, hopefully, will solve your problem.

Thanks for the reply Caroline. I've done as you've said but it's already set at 'exclusive'. Strange how these rogue emails are getting through.

Sorry I can't help you further Glynn. I had only found that suggestion by searching through hotmail's help topics.
Afraid it's one of life's pains with hotmail/yahoo email accounts. The spammers seem to get through the filters.

Thanks anyway. I guess I'll just have to put up with it.
