Is Zone Alarm The Problem?....
      #362851 - Sat Aug 25 2007 09:15 AM

Dear Webusers,

I had to reinstall the OS on my laptop, and it was okay with the wireless connection, but I managed to install the wireless card drive and it connected okay.

But initially, I had a "limited or no connectivity" message and I found out that I didn't have the default gateway configured. However, the laptop says that it's connected and the signal is good, but it's still not connecting to the internet.

How can I work out if ZA is causing the problem. Previously, I had it set up in ZA as HOMELAPTOP, and the configuaration was 198.168.1.2 & 198.168.1.254.. Therefore, I changed the TCP/IP to that as well and it's still connecting to the wireless network, but I cannot access the internet.

Your help would be awesome. Thanks in advance

Brian
