AOL dial-up connection problem
      #361548 - Wed Aug 15 2007 03:02 PM

I am using Windows XP and AOL dial-up on my laptop purchased late last year. All is fine, no connection problems. Separately on my other desktop computer again Windows XP (purchased about 3 years ago) and using dial-up had a problem so uninstalled AOL 9.0. Reinstalled from disk and now get message "Error starting:ee//connectivity/connectivity. Error code:10". Contacted AOL on the computer helpline and after they gave various options to try that did not appear to work, they recommended reinstalling in safe mode and I eventually found Setup 9.0 exe file that I copied to the desktop (by dragging) but still no success in connecting. There were other files underneath the 9.0 files (set up of various types of drivers) that I did not copy. Any ideas please? Am not computer literate so please keep it simple!!
