I am making a website for some guys but they want a song on the index page.
I suggested not to have it but they want it.
Thing is, many visitors dont like to listen to songs on a webpage so is there a way of making a button or something which enables the visitor to mute/turn off the music when the page loads up?
I am using frontpage 2003

You can do it in flash, only way I can think of that will do it.
I may be wrong though

I'd suggest using flash and not playing the music as default - make users press a button to hear the music - its a lot less irritating than visiting a webpage and having it start playing music automatically while you hunt for the stop button - especially for those people who surf the web at work !
