      #360339 - Tue Aug 07 2007 03:54 PM

I have just copied 290 songs (mp3) onto a RW music CD using Nero but have been unable to have them all at the same (playback) audio level,I know this is possible if I copy them in wav I can set them all for the same level, is it in anyway possible to do so in mp3 format. I look 4ward to any help. Many Thanks

I use Nero Express, and when adding a list of MP3s to burn as an audio CD, a property box 'lights up' when tracks are selected. This brings up an audio track properties screen which has a filters tab. Clicking on that reveals a list of options, the first of which is normalize.

I don't know if your version of Nero is the same but this works for me.

There is a great piece of software called MP3 Gain which will do exactly what you want and it is free! Get it here
http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/download.php
This software deserves an award it is so useful. Use the default settings for a perfect result. No spyware etc.. Recommended!
