Suddenly loosing connection.

Hello all once again.

I have exaspirated all my knowledge on this one, and have looked through the forums posts with no answer so I hope you can help.

The problem is I can be happily surfing away, when suddenly (when I change pages) the message comes up "no Internet connection available at this time"

It gives me the options to work offline or to try again.

I click try again and it connects fine.

I'm on broadband with sky, have a fully clean system free from any "malware" "viruses" etc... and It's driving me NUTS!

I have tried to Repair the connection but that comes up with another error message saying "failed, please contact your administrator" (that's me!)

Any ideas? help?

Don't know if this will help, but go to your network connections / click on your phone icon then goto file and click on Properties / goto options in the redialling options / in the Idle time before hanging up box this should be set to never

Hi outsider, I have tried this to no avail, but I did notice another check box on closer inspection saying something like "let me know when there is limited or no Internet connection". I unchecked this and ----- no more messages?

But...

Does that mean that I have sometimes no Internet connection?

or limited connection?

that is worrying.

The only tick box i have like that go's "redial if line is dropped" which is unticked, putting this aside how is your connection now?
