Had a wireless network that was working fine 1 desktop and 2 laptops. Desktop using xp media and laptops using xp home. have just replaced one laptop which is using Vista. Tried to get this on to the network then realised I had a problem. All three can access the internet no problem and at first thought I just had a problem getting the vista laptop to share files etc, a common problem from what i can tell, but no the desktop can see all three computers in the workgroup the vista laptop can only see itself and the xp laptop has nothing in the workgroup computers. All three have the same network name and are in the trusted zone of the firewall. I am annoyed that I cannot sort this out as i set up the nework origionally several months ago and was really chuffed when got it all sharing files and printer.
All three have latest vesion of AVG Anti Virus the 2 laptops have latest version Zone Alarm firewall and desk top has Zone Alarm 7.0.302. I haven't got the latest version on that because that gave me problems with the network which were cured by going back to this version.
Hope you can understand all of that.
Thanks for taking a look and hope you can help me out. Although I have been using a computer a few years now i am still no techie so plain english if possible would be apreciated.

If the firewalls are OK this may help. Download and install it on the WinXP computer(s) http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=922120

Thanks for that. I already had that installed on the desktop before I posted this question but not on the xp laptop but dearn't touch that it belongs to my son but will gat him to install asap.
The vista laptop sees the desktop in the network map but it doesnt show in the workgroup computers window.
