Webuser Forums: Brother DCP 340CW

I have the above (wireless Scanner/Printer/Copier)purchased in April this year. It is connected directly to my Belkin router/modem. I am using Vista Ultimate (pre-installed on my laptop and in company of most Vista users have had many teething problems to date). The wireless printing function works from any laptop in our house, scanning is only possible from the 340CW itself to a camera/storage card then I copied to my laptop. Having elicited the help of Brother I downloaded the new drivers/software although during setup the wireless option hung up and after several attempts I gave up used the USB option and added the wireless printer manually in Control Panel. However although the printer functions work perfectly I still cannot scan from the Brother Control Centre unless connected by USB - please help, after a day of uninstalling and reinstalling yesterday I am thoroughly frustrated!
