Problems with Virgin Broadband
      #357660 - Sun Jul 15 2007 07:57 PM

Hi all. I wonder if anyone else has been having the same problems I've been having since Virgin took over Blue Yonder. All my problems have been with the webmail service.
It started whaen I tried to mark emails to delete, then when I tried to delete a few together, after marking them for deletion, none would be deleted. If I then performed another email task, maybe opening one to read, and then go back to the email list, then the emails I tried to delete earlier would now have been delted.
Then I was getting a different email to the one I clicked on opening on my screen. Then I found the wrong emails were being deleted, it was bit like playing the lottery, I wasn't sure what was happening.
I emailed them a few times and was told that I was the only person having this problem. They hav't sorted it out yet, and I started having the email problems as soon as Virgin took over form Blue Yonder.
Then on the 30th of June, I recieved an email. What makes me remember is that I didn't recieve another one until July 12th, after I phoned them on the previously free, but now 25p per minute and a 10p connection fee (thanks Virgin) that came in I think on the 1st of July. Since then I've found out that mail was being bounced from my email address and returned with a 'no such email excists' not attached.
Anyone else have any problems?

How are you getting your emails, via Outlook Express or direct from the Virgin Media web site?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Through Virgin's webmail, which I guess is from thier site.
I used to get them from Blue Yonder's webmail page and never had a problem, then Virgin took over.

Do you have a GoogleMail or MSN email account? If so, try sending yourself an email to your Virgin account and see what happens. Also try the same process in reverse.

Everything is back to working fine now, but I can only say it's working at the moment.
