Can anyone help me please? I noticed yesterday that emails in my outlook express 6 inbox received between 19 October 2006 and 6 July 2007 had all been wiped. All the read receipts and sent items etc still exist, just mail from the inbox has gone. The files aren't backed up, as I don't know how to back up email files using a USB stick. Is there any way to get them back from deep within my computer or are they lost forever? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ric

I may have inadvertently sent them to the deleted items, which I then emptied. Is there any way of retrieving a deleted deleted items folder from deep in the bowels of the hard drive please? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Ric

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but when you delete files from OE they are deleted from the program itself, they are not sat on the hard drive and they do not go into the recycle bin when they are deleted.
Unfortunately, your emails are now lost forever
