can anyone tell me why i cant open web site links on my pc when i try and open a slide show pic link in online newspaper nothing happens when i put my mouse on the link it says javascript-popup etc but it will not open even in a new page is something missing from my pc or something needs repairing any help would be appreciated cheers giddy

Have you tried turning off the pop up blocker in Norton ?

What i did notice was that you are still using IE6. IE7 has been available for some time now and it sorts many security issues which are prevalent in IE6 ,many of which may leave your PC open to attack. Updating may not help with your problem , but will make your PC more secure. I would advise you do so , as soon as.

didnt think of norton switched off pop up and it worked cheers giddy
