Webuser Forums: Wightcable/Smallworld slow internet connection

Hi there,

I've been a lurker for awhile and have searched in vain for help with my problem to no avail, so I thought I'd jump on in and see if anyone has any advice or help for me.....

I have a 1MG broadband/TV/phone package (cable) with Wightcable now Smallworld and for the past week have been experiencing extremely slow internet speeds. I am running Windows XP and have done every Spyware, Virus check imaginable with the result my computer was and is squeaky clean.

Smallworld informed me that there were 'no problems' in my area with broadband speeds and I was the only one complaining and therefore the problem must be mine (??) but they told me to do 3 speedtests from their site, and e-mail them the results. (see below)

No-one from Smallworld has got back to me, and I was hoping someone here may be able to help me out in interpreting these results perhaps and point me in the right direction.......is it a problem with my computer do you think, or is it something to do with Smallworld?
