Donations to a website
      #356326 - Fri Jul 06 2007 11:18 PM

Hello

The current edition of webuser refers in one section to putting a link / button on your website asking for donations to the site.

How do you do that please?

Thank you

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

One of the easiest methods is to use PayPal's Donations tool. There's a technical overview of how it works here.

Hi

There's a 'buy me a beer' script that you could use, too
if you don't want to sound vulgar in asking for donations
(we British, huh?)

You can find one such script here (not free)

And you read about asking for donations (admittedly
from a Blogger perspective) from Darren Rowse's ProBlogger.net
- http://www.problogger.net/archives/2007/05/31/donations-on-blogs-do-they-work/

Hope that helps,
Steve
