great link , the upload test never starts on my PC ,i guess its something to do with my router firewall.

I use this -

Click on the link and click on the BLUE "News Europe" link to start the test. http://www.giganews.com/test_connect.html

Nice link TFC. I shall use it in future. At least, it tells me my broadband is faster than my old 'SpeakEasy' thought. Don't know whether to be reassured or sceptical.
