Windows Media Player 11 - "jump" near the end of tracks!
      #355845 - Wed Jul 04 2007 01:02 PM

About 5 to 7 seconds from the end of every track I play there is some sort of jump/crackling/interference, which is rather annoying.

Does anyone know why it does this and if there's a solution to it?

Cheers

Paul

Hi
I am having the same problem, however tracks jump exactly 20 seconds from the end. Did you get a resolution to the problem?

Martin

Martin,

I still have the same problem and haven't found a solution yet. When I do, i'll let you know.

Don't know if it will help or not but there's nothing to lose by trying.......open WMP and click on tools > options > devices tab > click on your CD drive > properties > in the playback section place a tick in the "Use error correction" box > apply > OK.

FF,

I've tried that but I'm afraid it's still doing it.

Thanks anyway.

Paul
