Flood Maps on ononemap.com
      #355592 - Mon Jul 02 2007 12:15 PM

issue 164 told us how www.ononemap.com had added a feature that inforemed us of flood risks which would be ideal on the site when looking for properties.
Unfortunately they have had to remove it and have added the following:
"Flood map removed
The Environment Agency has directed us to withdraw our flood map layer as they claim, amongst other things, copyright over the data. See what we think of this on our blog. To access flood information in the meantime, visit the Environment Agency's maps."

Their say is at http://www.ononeblog.com/?p=28
Whereas the flood info at present is here: http://www.environment.gov.uk/

Personally, I think they should be allowed to publish such info on their site.
