a few e-mails I receive with attachments are causing me a problem as I can't open them as when I click on the download link I then get a box asking me if I want to find ,save or cancel. I then end up going round in circles and in the end I give up.can anyone advise me how I can view these attachmennts please?

What type of attachments are they? I need a file extension name something like .ppt or .doc.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

Certainly does, they are Microsoft Powerpoint Slideshow files. You clearly haven't got Powerpoint on your PC so what you need is a Powerpoint Viewer from here. Download and install the viewer and you should then be able to view the email attachments.
