Hi y'all,
I'm currently using Windows XP home edition and have set Mozilla Firefox as my default browser instead of Internet Explorer which comes with the windows package.
However, I notice that some web applications/programs seem to be set to open ONLY in Internet Explorer no matter what the default browser is set to, and will not open by default in my chosen browser no matter what I do.
Is there a way of ensuring that they always open in Mozilla Firefox?

You could try control panel>add or remove progs. and in the main configuration window, click on "custom" and make sure that IE is not setas the default browser. If so, uncheck IE and put a check in "use my current browser"

Thank you Bungler for your suggestion. I've done that now and will see how it goes over the next few visits to different sites.
