Many a time I've bought items on ebay and, after leaving positive feedback, the sellers haven't left any and they've no phone numbers or other contact details to use to get in touch or check up on either . What do I do as i've constantly emailed them to the point of spamming, but nothing . As i'm only in double figures, losing just one feedback is annoying but to say the least? Any help ?

My advice - live with the pain. Getting uptight won't help you and sending numerous emails could end up with you getting a negative. Failure to leave feedback is a common occurrence and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Try to be a bit patient with the feedback. Sellers may just be very busy with work so just don't have the time to leave feedback immedietly or they may even be offline, on holiday or simply do all the feedback in one go at the end of the month. Many sellers are full time sellers on e-bay so leaving feedback for their buyers all at the same time may make life easier. Give it about a week, even two after the transaction and then send them a message via the "Contact seller" link. Be polite about it though

Thanks for your replies. It's been about 2 months so I don't think it's forth coming. His feedback rating continues to shoot up. At least if he neg's me I have a chance to respond. Stil, I guess I live and learn. I just won't be so quick in giving feedback in future, at least til i've earned it!

The worst thing to do on eBay is to get hung up over feedback. These things will happen on eBay: -
You will get a neg. You will get someone not leave feedback. You will leave positive/negative and then the situation will alter so that you wish you hadn't (say when a PayPal payment bounces or someone comes through).
Pestering anyone for feedback is actually against eBay rules.
We follow a simple guideline. If we buy on eBay, we leave feedback first. If we sell on eBay, we expect feedback before we leave it. If someone doesn't leave feedback we definately do not chase it.
On occaision I have withheld feedback where a customer has caused problems (paying with eCheque and then demanding the goods within two days - eCheques take at least ten to clear, also where I have had a buyer buy multiple items then just pay for one and ask for the others to be cancelled). I just feel that a negative is too much and a neutral means nothing so I'd rather not waste the time feeding back.
I think if you have pestered the seller 'to the point of spamming' it is hardly a surprise they have not come back. Some of our buyers take months - I know because unlike some sellers who use auto-feedback (it instantly returns feedback automatically when they get a positive) we reply to everything personally.
Best bet is to back off before they complain or block you. In truth the feedback doesn't mean a fat lot to a seller. If you commit to buy something there are very few sellers stupid enough to turn you down if you pay! In addition unless you have unpaid strikes or actual negative feedback (your rating is actually a minus) you can't be blocked.
You seem to have a grudge with one seller from your last response - you might notice you can look at his feedback and see 'Feedback Left For Others'. He might be one of those people who just can't be bothered or never gets the time and then does a load in a block - FLFO with tell you his 'pattern'.
However I have to go along with Greysts and Baz94 on this - let it go. There are more important things in life...............

I suppose I semi agree with you all. The annoyance factor is high and it makes me feel I should just order from them again and NOT pay so as to get their attention. On my last look, his Fbck has gone up from 900 odd to well over 10k now so i'm just one of the low minority which just escaped. Shall I close the door on the way out...........?

There are a number of things you can do to get attention in life. But you are only buying something off someone on eBay..............
As a tip, I'd seriously suggest a rethink of priorities and probably suggest eBay ain't the place for you.

So you will refuse to pay? So essensially what you are saying is if they don't say something nice about you, you are going to steal from them.
e-bay is not a competition where rating is improved and you win a prize. It is a marketplace for people to buy and sell things. Next time you are in a shop and the cashire asks for the money, tell them you want them to tell everyone in the store how wonderful you are first and then you will pay because that is basically what you are doing.
Don't buy from me.

I think the point has been well made. I will close this thread.
