Hi Alconn, welcome to the WU forums.
If you don't want to pay for a video-editing program, there's a guide to editing videos online in the new issue of Web User (on sale today!) using Eyespot. It's free to use, lets you upload video files of up to 100MB in size, then trim, add music and apply effects to them.
For free video-editing software, Virtual Dub is frequently recommended around these parts. We'll be featuring a guide to using this program in an upcoming issue.

You can't go wrong with Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus. I've been using Ulead to edit my DVD for several years now and it's a great bit of software. Well worthe the money.

Can I ask a question on this
I have a number of Home Videos which I have put on to my TV Recorder and then on to disc so I can edit them.
Can you tell me about a cheap or free VOB editor
Thanks
