hi all,
i have a (up to) 2meg broadband unlimited (throtlled back between 4pm and 12am)
virginmedia connection.
i have tested this on various websites and get (in the morning) 1.9mb/s all well n good, but if i try and download a file of anything from any where i get
a download speed maximimum of 256kb/s
i have complained on numerous occasions and the engineers are sending more and more senior people.
any ideas on why this is? as its becoming a pain....

Is this connection via cable or telephone line? Why is it throttled back between 4pm and midnight?
